This sculpture has found its way into a very special place for me. I hope the artist doesn’t mind! It’s in my fish’s tank. I got myself a pet betta fish when I was feeling unusually more depressed. It made me really happy to make a little happy habitat for him. Furthermore… One of my best friends was just diagnosed w terminal breast cancer, so this piece sort of spoke to me. I could tell it would fit perfectly, so it was just mean to be in my opinion. :) When I got home from a recent trip visiting her, I sat next to the fish and let my tears finally fall after putting on a happy face the whole trip. For the first and only time since that I’ve seen, Benito (the fish lol) swam through the heart hole and just stayed there, showing me he learned that it was for him and magically helping me find a little joy through my sadness. :)
