curious found object assemblages

Berkeley, California

Announcement    Thank you for visiting and viewing my wall plaques, boxes and miscellaneous assemblages. All of the things I make incorporate special "found objects" and probably a selection of other common elements as well. I frequently use beans because they come in so many colors and shapes that they seem to mesh well with used spark plugs, beach glass, little electrical bits and bones. I use "wacky plaque" as a sort of umbrella description of what I make because they combine treasures that have no relationship to each other... fancy antique broken crockery and a worn out weathered piece of rubber, tiny doll heads and pinto beans – you get the idea. Each one is an experiment – unique because none proceeding it has been quite like it. I enjoy the challenge of making something from "nothing".
