High school history teacher + boy + girl = TRwoodworks

What happens when a boy from sunny California moves to a small town in the South...

He meets a girl, of course!

We owe it all to Ms. Reynolds, the high-school history teacher who assigned us seats next to each other in class. The small-town southern girl had an instant crush on the new boy, who ended up being her next door neighbor as well. Three years later, they were married!

The fun didn't stop there though :) Aaron joined the US Army straight out of high school, and next thing we knew, we were living in Hawaii!

A few years later we were back in the South, but being the tumbleweeds we are, we didn't stay put long. Young and broke, we dropped out of college to go trucking. We know, we know...CRINGE...GASP! But you know what? It ended up being pretty cool. Sure, we were sleep-deprived and had trouble remembering what state we were in each morning, but we also saw a chupacabra and every inch of the great USA (yep, we did say chupacabra)!

It also allowed us to find the beautiful state of Montana, where we now live. There were many other jobs, and states in-between, but Montana helped us set our tumbleweed lifestyle aside.

Aaron always dreamed of having his own woodworking shop, so he worked two jobs, we saved up for his tools, and made it happen!!

Today, the shop is full of sawdust as Aaron saws, sands and creates, and the house is full of clicking as Julie tippity-types her way across the keyboard answering convo's and printing shipping labels. Max and Gus, our Mini-Schnauzers, are usually somewhere in between, but we're always together.

And that's how a high school history teacher + boy + girl = TRwoodworks!

Hi! We're Aaron & Julie, the husband and wife team of TRwoodworks! We design everything together, but Aaron builds it because Julie and the table saw don't play nice together! We even have shop mascots! Max and Gus - the Mini-Schnauzer wonder dogs!
