welcome to rubi + radish, a ceramic + design studio focused on designing a life with love.

rubi + radish is focused on bringing unique, quality goods and designs into the world that help inspire, provide a sense of place, and spark love.

we believe creativity lives within each living being, and it’s only a matter of tapping into your creative spark to put forth your inner self and make the world a better place. we aim to help others tap into their own creativity and find their voice as we also share our own.

this design studio was created from a convergence of many experiences, goals, and dreams. after being introduced to ceramics, herbal medicine, natural dyes, and jewelry making, i felt deeply connected to all and wanted to share that love of natural and handmade with others.

rubi + radish is a one-woman show. i have always considered myself to be a creator, a maker, a lover of art. something about making and designing sparks excitement deep in my soul, and i just can’t get enough.

sustainability ||
I always strive to be as sustainable as possible in the making process, from reusing water, to using recyclable packaging, to creating and promoting objects that can replace disposables. i believe that making the earth a safer and healthier place will make humans healthier and happier, too, and i'm working to do my part!

creation ||
all ceramics pieces are thrown on the potters wheel to start and then decorated by hand with underglazes, decals, hand-built additions, and beautiful high-fire glazes. all of the ceramic items in my shop are food, dishwasher, and microwave safe, although it's typically recommended to hand wash to ensure your pieces last a lifetime.

all ceramic pieces are handmade and go though several firings. this means there are many opportunities for small differences from piece to piece. i am certainly not a factory so the pieces are never 'perfect', they will have little wobble here a little bump there - but there is beauty in those imperfections and it's always a wonder to behold such a unique object! i hope you love it as much as i do.
