Our twins James and Aidan were born in 2010 at 26 weeks. Our wee James passed away when the boys were a few days old and Aidan went onto spend the first year of his life in Wellington NICU, the first 2 years of his life on oxygen and has been tube fed from birth. When he started having on going granulation issues from his g-tube, I couldn't find any pads available in New Zealand so I started making my own and they have transformed his (and our) lives! I first made Aidan a feeding belt when he started Kindergarten to enable him to be fed while still actively engaging in all his activities at Kindy and to give me peace of mind his tubing wouldn't get caught on anything! He is now at school and has a collection of belts and pads!!

All Tubie Love items are made in a smoke-free environment.

I'm constantly looking at ways to make the lives of tube fed children and their families just a little bit easier.

Due to the personal nature of these items and for sanitary reasons, returns are not accepted, even if the item is unused.

If there is a defect in the product due to quality, then please contact me as soon as possible so I can correct the situation.

For custom made items, cancellations can be made until the item is in production, after which no cancellations can be made. If cancelled prior to production, a refund will be given, minus any costs incurred by me pertaining to making your order.

APRIL 2020 COVID-19 PANDEMIC - GLOBAL DELIVERY DELAYS AND AVAILABLE DELIVERY OPTIONS

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS PLEASE READ -

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there are ongoing issues globally with the mail service and NZ Post has had to suspend some services due to individual countries mail import options and fewer international flights leaving New Zealand. This means that my usual shipping option of NZ Post International Air Satchel which is a TRACKED service with a delivery estimate of 3-10 working days is not available. I have sourced the best rates and will partner with DHL Express Courier for all international orders (with the exception of some countries where NZ Post International Courier offers a cheaper service). Delivery estimates may be impacted during this pandemic but you will be able to track your order.

Please be aware that your item may be held at customs for inspection, delaying the delivery time, and you may be charged a customs fee or import tax or similar. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about customs clearance - customs rules make the importer (the buyer - you!) responsible for these fees. I am NOT responsible for any customs fees that may be charged when your order arrives in your country.

I am happy to ship internationally elsewhere so please message me your location so I can determine shipping costs for you.

NEW ZEALAND CUSTOMERS -

NZ Couriers will continue to deliver your parcels, please allow 2-3 days for urban delivery, longer for rural areas.

All orders are processed in the order they are received.

Please allow 1-2 business days to ship items marked READY TO SHIP.

For custom orders, please allow up to 10 business days to ship - I will keep you updated on your order if there is a delay due to fabric choice or other materials not being available.

All orders within New Zealand will be sent via overnight courier using New Zealand Couriers.

Care instructions will be sent with each order. All fabrics have been pre washed using Eco Store Laundry Powder.

As all items are handmade, the pattern placement on your order may vary slightly from that shown in the photos. Cotton and KAM snaps may also vary from the photo due to availability of stock at time your order is made.

Where are you based?

I'm on the sunny Kapiti Coast, north of Wellington in New Zealand.

Do you have a tube fed child?

Yes, we do! That's how Tubie Love Ltd came to be - my own frustrations with ongoing granulation issues caused me to come up with a better solution than gauze for his stoma site. Other items have been added over the years due to customer requests or with items I knew could help other families in the same situation.

How come international shipping is so expensive?

At the moment, it is. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there are global shipping delays and my usual option of Air Satchel Tracked isn't available as most countries have restricted some mail services sent by air. International Courier is the only option available to me right now, I wish I could absorb these costs but I have no choice but to pass them on. I have sourced the best rates and delivery timeframes and have partnered with DHL Express Courier. You will receive a tracking number when your order is dispatched (with the exception of France which is sent via Air Mail, untracked).

I can't see North America as a shipping option? What happened?

As of July 2021, I've unfortunately had to suspend shipments to Canada and the USA. Due to the increased shipping charges that have arisen from the ongoing impact of Covid-19 on the global mail system, my sales from North America are considerably down from recent years and I'm not able to justify the cost of my business liability insurance to cover this region right now. I will be looking to reinstate North America if and when, the situation changes.
