About

Tucknote: For the modern cat person!

This isn't your grandma's frumpy cat lady store. I create a cute and modern selection of paper goods, decór, and gifts for sophisticated cat ladies and kittymen of today's world!

Tucknote started as a 5-item cat-inspired greeting card shop in February 2015, and it's grown to what you see today. My orange tabby, Tucker, is the inspiration behind my shop, and he often "helps" me think up new ideas (by sitting on my laptop - that's helping, I think).

All products are handmade with care by me. Some tools I utilize frequently are pen and ink, watercolor, a laser cutter, and my trusty digital friends Photoshop and Illustrator. Favorite materials include lovely thick, textured watercolor paper, brightly colored acrylic, and colored pencils. I work right out of my one-bedroom apartment in West Hartford, CT, USA - space is tight, but it pays to be exceptionally organized!

Orders are carefully packaged by me and ship worldwide (with free domestic shipping, always). I take pride in excellent craftsmanship and am 100% committed to customer satisfaction. Occasionally, I'll list a basket handmade by my mother Amanda - snatch it up quick, they go fast!

I am always thrilled to work on custom orders - whether it's based on a product I offer, or something totally new. I'll work with you to get it exactly right, whatever it may be!

Frequently asked questions
What kind of customizations do you offer?

The sky's the limit! I can do printing on different colored papers, adding your friend's (or your cat's) name into designs, customizing gift tags, etc. If you can dream it, I can probably do it. Just ask :)

Side note - baskets cannot be customized.

Do you offer bundled shipping?

Yes! If you order more than one thing, I will always fit them into as few packages as possible, and message you with an updated shipping fee. When in doubt, just send me a message. (Note that domestic shipping is always free!)

Can you gift wrap? How much does it cost?

Yes, for most items! The selection of gift wrap in my arsenal varies, so just message me if you'd like gift wrapping and we'll discuss the details. And guess what -- it's FREE!

For baskets, that would require an additional charge. Send me a message and we'll chat!

What are care instructions for the baskets?

Reed baskets naturally develop stray "hairs" as the reeds age. Remove any hairs with nail scissors, or leave as-is depending on what look you like best!

Keep dyed baskets out of direct sunlight to avoid fading.
