What metal material are your earring stud posts and hooks?

Most of my gold stud posts and ball posts are stainless steel. I will specify on each listing what materials are used. The silver color ones are either silver plated or other metals. Most of the jump rings are stainless steel, but some are 18 karat gold plated brass. The gold flat studs are stainless steel. The hoops are stainless steel.

How should I care for my earrings or hair clips?

You should not keep your earrings soaked in water so don’t shower with them on or swim in them. If you get makeup on them or something else, you can wipe them off using a damp paper towel or cloth. You should not not sleep with them on.
