A Cuddly Crochet Emporium

Twist and Twine Designs began as a small shop in 2016 with the vision of selling beginner patterns to help inspire others to pick up a hook. In the beginning, our dolls were mostly sold in person, but as the shop has grown, we’ve increased our offerings to sell these cuddly dolls to you online!

Our dolls are made using high quality acrylic yarns, sturdy safety eyes, and polyester fibrefill in a smoke-free home. Our studio is a small craft room, filled with shelves and shelves of yarn.

Twist and Twine Designs is a one-woman show, run by Kate MacPherson, a social media content creator working for an advertising agency in Ontario, Canada. Kate’s interest in crochet began early in 2013 in a dorm room in Waterloo, Ontario. As her skill level grew, Kate began selling her dolls to fundraise for the Canadian Cancer Society and finally decided to make the move to launch an Etsy shop.

Now this cuddly emporium is dedicated to crafting sturdy dolls that will last a lifetime and encouraging beginners to pick up a hook and learn a new skill with our crochet patterns.
