I ordered four ruffle scarves. They arrived carefully and nicely gift wrapped. They are really beautifully made, intricate pieces. The pictures do not do them justice. They are lovely and flattering worn. I couldn't be more pleased

Seller's items are beautiful. She was very responsive and shipped in timely manner (all the way from Australia!) so that the scarf would arrive in time for a girl's birthday party. Totally recommend. Holiday shopping from this artist.

I live and breathe creating beautiful items just for you..I'd be a lost soul without it!

Thanks so much for stopping by Twisted Knits by Suze/aka Twisted Stitchery Handmade Designs - I really appreciate you taking the time and I hope you enjoy browsing my store as much as I enjoy filling it!

The reason I started selling on Etsy, was that when I was a long-term hospital patient, I was doing so many knitting projects just for fun and for the mental challenge whilst wearing my hand made goods, many people suggested to me that I put some products onto the interwebs and see what happened. I was pretty hesitant (me, good enough for THAT?!) but eventually gave it a go. Crafting for others has become my lifeline since I've had to stop working as a Social Worker, developing some significant health issues which put me in hospital for 6 out of 12 months last year; each piece completed to my exacting standards gives me a great sense of achievement, pride and drive to carry on to the next day. Without researching patterns and techniques, crafting and creating, I'd truly be a lost soul.

My love for knitting / crocheting / sewing and creating beautiful items, especially for others (now that I've discovered I'm actually pretty good at it!) has grown in leaps and bounds - so showcasing and selling my work online seemed like a perfect idea! As I move forward with my creative skills I'm adding new items to my stores, such as different styles of scarves on a regular basis, not to mention hats, gloves, yarn jewellery, and hair accessories. You'll have to come back and check it out every once in a while as new items are added often. I'm loving vintage-inspired fashion, which is reflected n my original design gloves, hats and hair accessories, they are just so gorgeous and unique! I can't wait to discover what I'll create next!

While you're around, feel free to check out my Facebook and Pinterest sites and, if you like, follow me on Twitter - I'll follow you back! Should you visit my Facebook business page (just go to Facebook and search Twisted Knits by Suze) you'll find a whole other line of products that I don't have listed on Etsy - sewn fabric pieces from toys, to household items, to my original design skirts and retro style half aprons...a bit of everything really! All items there are also for sale and I take custom requests too :-) Soon I will be expanding into a line of smart, beautiful, classy and comfortable plus size wearables for women! Please, if you like what you see, LIKE my page - it really helps little stores like mine and promotes handmade products.

If there's anything I can do for you, please feel free to contact me - I'll be happy to try and help you out any way I can :-)

I appreciate payment within three (3) days of purchase via one of the methods outlined in the listing. Paypal is offered, as well as direct deposit into my bank account. Should payment not be received within this timeframe, I will attempt to make contact with you to remind you of your purchase. Should payment be outstanding for more than a further 24 hours, I will need to cancel your order and re-list the item for sale.

Items cannot be posted until your payment has cleared - then I will despatch within one business day for ready to ship items. For Made to Order purchases, I generally require up to three business days to post however each listing can vary so please check there (pending payment clearance also).

I offer lay-by / lay-away - should you want to purchase an item but you don't have all the money right now, you can contact me and make a payment of 50%, and I will reserve your item until you have paid for it in full (within 10 weeks) whereupon I remove the item from reserve and mark it sold, and will then post your item directly to you.

As indicated below, the buyer is responsible for any taxes/customs fees payable their your country/state. Should I need to do anything in relation to this, such as paperwork, the buyer needs to advise me prior to shipping.
Should your item be ready to ship, I will post it within one (1) business day of clearance of payment. If it is a made to order item, I will usually post it within three (3) days of payment clearance, however, different items vary in despatch time and this is noted within the listing so please follow that timeframe.

I use Australia Post Air Mail which is the cheapest airmail available to your destination and I can arrange for any extras should you desire at your expense that are available to me (such as upgrades, insurance, tracking, etc) if not already included. If I am provided with a tracking number (not provided with standard Air Mail) I will pass that on to you immediately. I will contact you once I have shipped the item, just to let you know. Australia Post generally delivers within 3 to 10 days, however it can vary. I have had an item held up in customs in Canada for several weeks before it was delivered. On the other hand, I have had items delivered within six days to the US from Australia.

Any taxes or customs payments are the responsibility of the buyer. If I need to write anything specific on the package (ie: what it is - gift or merchandise), the buyer must advise me prior to sending the item, or I will write what I believe to be most appropriate.
Refunds and Exchanges
I will refund or exchange an item (this is your choice) within 7 days should it be clearly *defective / faulty* or *significantly different from the descriptions of the item*. After the fist 7 days, this is no longer available.

NB Different computer monitors can affect the display of colours and therefore you should keep this in mind - please ask if you need to check anything at all, including the colour PRIOR to your purchase to avoid any issues down the track.

I will pay for the return postage costs should the item meet the above refund / exchange criteria.

Sorry but *no* refunds simply due to change of mind -- I may exchange for a similar item if the original purchase is clean, unworn/unused, undamaged and returned immediately, however the buyer in this case is responsible for shipping costs.

Given my handmade pieces are unbreakable / non-fragile, they cannot be broken in transit. All items are placed in a sealed plastic baggie before shipping so they are safe from liquid spillage damage, for instance.
Additional policies and FAQs
I'm willing to provide wholesale services with bundles of items being ordered - just contact me to discuss the terms, etc.

I am keen to take on custom orders - again, please just contact me and we can talk about it.

To wrap things up - should anyone want to know / clarify anything at all, please use the contact button, I'll reply very quickly.

All items purchased from Twisted Knits by Suze are beautifully gift -wrapped primarily with a female in mind ( I mostly use pink / silver paper and pink / silver ribbon) - please let me know if you'd like gift wrapping more suitable for a guy.
