Just as cute in person--I can't wait to use this little guy with my next sewing project. Although, he did not come with a name as expected, so I have just gone ahead and called him Melvin. :)

About

I love to make things you love.

I've always been creative, and I've always loved creating. Taking old things and making them new and useful, or making new things from ideas and dreams, I love having something tangible to look at at the end of the say and be able to say, "I made that."

I make things out of wood, felt, bits of fabric I find, and thrift store / op shop treasures repurposed. I make photographs too!

Here's how my career journey has been up until this point:

Kid in the garage tinkering with things -> Film student -> Commercial Lighting Technician -> Etsy Maker -> Documentary filmmaker -> International Traveler -> Nursing Student -> Nurse!

While I'm no longer a kid tinkering in the garage, I still do many of the jobs above in my spare time from being a nurse. I just won't stop being creative.
