This is a very nice hat made from naturally shed wolf fur yarn, spun and knitted IN THE RAW. Many people may find RAW yarn to be offensive (or dirty) because it must be cleaned before use. Raw fiber garments are definitely not the over processed fair made readily available in chain stores.

However, I have purchased many garments created from raw fiber yarn, including chiengora (naturally shed canine undercoat used as a spinning fiber,) so I know well how to clean items made from raw fiber yarn before use.

The quality of the shed wolf fur yarn is good; quite nicely spun, thick, and rustic. It reminds me of several wonderful raw alpaca wool garments I obtained from Peru.

The kitting is top quality, making this one of sturdiest knitted hats I own.

This lovely item has found a very good and appreciative home with me.
