She walked me through all the steps to ensure that I had the exact program that I was looking for (including giving recommendations on what to print it on and where to have it printed). She offered her professional opinion and was ver responsive to all my requests!! I was extremely impressed with all my etsy wedding purchases!!

Hi, I'm Tara!
Type Ten is a design studio based in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I started Type Ten right after my own wedding, when I picked up everything and moved with my husband to Dublin, Ireland. In a new country with limited work opportunities, I discovered a way to bring my design passion to life through Etsy. Four years later, we are now settled in back in the States, and I continue to love having the opportunity to be a small part for so many big days!
My background is quite diverse, but it all comes back to design. I have an undergraduate degree in Advertising and Public Relations and a master's degree in Digital Design. Before starting Type Ten, I spent nearly 10 years in marketing and advertising for one of the largest department store chains in the US and a great local ad agency in Wisconsin, always working on design projects on the side. I'm particularly passionate about typography and pattern.
My mission is to provide beautiful, simple designs that make it easy and affordable. In my shop, you'll find coordinating collections of wedding stationery that are customizable and complement a variety of different wedding themes. Order just one item or multiple matching items to create a cohesive look. And I also love custom orders, whether it's matching something from your existing theme or coming up with something new from scratch.
Everything in my shop is printable, which means I design and you print (either at home or with a printer of your choice). Think of it as semi-DIY. Chances are you haven't printed something like this on your own before. But don't worry! Even after we finalize your design, I’m here as a resource and to assist with any printing questions.

COLORS
Because colors look different from screen to print, there may be a color variance. I always recommend test printing your digital proof to ensure you are happy with the color output prior to approving your final design. If you are printing professionally, have your printer provide you a proof.
THE FINE PRINT
Once a design is approved or if you send it to print (which implies your approval), Type Ten is not responsible for any spelling/grammatical errors or color discrepancy.

I often get asked if I can provide printing services, but unfortunately that is not something I am able to provide at this time. However, if you are willing to go the semi-DIY route and have them printed yourself, you can really save a lot!

- If you want to keep it local or need it rush:
Try your nearby office supply store print center (such as Office Max) or FedEx Office. You can upload PDF files online and pick up your order at the store, or bring the PDF files in on a disk/drive.
- Even if you choose to print at home, many of these local print shops will do just the cutting for you at a very reasonable cost.

I recommend 80# to 110# cover stock. The higher the weight, the nicer and more solid the paper feels, so go as high as your budget will allow.

Additional policies and FAQs
I do not charge for or limit rounds of proofs and minor edits. I feel that it's your wedding, and it has to be right, no matter what. In turn, I ask you to condense feedback as much as possible. The fewer times we edit the file, the less chances for errors.
If a requested edit is beyond the scope of the listing that was ordered, I will provide a reasonable estimate for the requested additional design work. Examples include (but are not limited to): resizing, additional pages or signs, adding photo, adding illustration and incorporating outside artwork.
