5 out of 5 starsThe recipe cards are beautiful--embossed crisp printing on elegant thick card stock. They are perfect for sharing special recipes with friends and family. They shipped right away and reached me in plenty of time for a project I'm working on.

My 10x15 Chandler and Price printing press. Almost everything in my shop was printed on this press.
Oh for the Love of Letterpress!
I founded Typothecary Letterpress in 2011 so I could start combining stories of love, business, friendship and families, together through letterpress printing. I love that I can meet someone whether in real life, or virtually, and chat with them about a project they have in mind. Ideas range from invitations to business cards to personalized gifts and, together, we can see that idea come to fruition! It is such a great feeling when a client sends me a message letting me know how much their letterpress piece meant to them and knowing that I had a small part in making someone's day a little bit better! The custom prints or picture frame mats that I create always have a special story that accompanies them. I love to hear their stories and create the perfect piece that ties it all together! I go above and beyond to try to get everyone what they want and try to find ways to help them do it at an affordable price.
I am constantly gathering new ideas and inspirations, through traveling any chance I get. Whether its just a day trip to visit with family or friends or a vacation abroad, I can usually be found taking photographs and exploring off the beaten path areas for something new to draw ideas from. Included in my recent journeys are trips to the Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina, the International Printing Museum located in Carson, California, and even a small printing museum I just happened to stumble across while on a family vacation in Ireland.
My degree in Graphic Design allows me to design all of my own work as well as print it. This keeps my jobs in house and allows me to work with tighter deadlines and at a more affordable rate. The array of classes and workshops I've attended from multiple instructors and print shops along the east coast helped me to fine tune my printing techniques. I am also just as happy to collaborate with other designers to print work that has not been designed by me.
Typothecary Letterpress is conveniently located in the heart of PA Dutch Country, in the rolling hills of Berks County, Pennsylvania but happily serves clients in Lancaster, Harrisburg, Allentown, Philadelphia, New York, Baltimore, Washington DC and nationwide.
