Beautiful work of art! My daughter loves it!
Total coincidence that actually worked
When I came to Ireland it was already the recession. I couldn't find a job as a graphic designer for a very long time, and selling paintings is not exactly easy. I got depressed and felt like crap about myself and my abilities for quite a while.
Having been a member of DeviantArt for quite a while I browsed though countless images of art and artisan crafts and suddenly had an epiphany: I want to learn wire wrapping, because I like learning new skills, and this seems cool enough.
So I started working on some projects just to learn and to know the technique, experimented with different wire types and gauges, but most of all - with my own style. I began to post some of my work to the dA and suddenly people wanted to buy my stuff.
It was 2010.
So there you go.
Born in Poland, now living in Ireland. Studied traditional art at Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland. Life's passions are singing, painting, design, jewellery and cats. Each item I create is unique.
My name is Ula, and I make jewellery for a living. I also like drawing, painting, knitting and other art and craft related activities. I am currently working on a few other projects, including a graphic novel, so I can't devote all of my time to jewellery and my Etsy shop. I hope you will understand.
All my items are unique and one of a kind, even though some of them may seem similar. I pick my supplies carefully and make sure the elements match. A lot of passion, design skills and thought goes into each piece. Making wire wrapped pendants is time consuming and requires certain skills.
I cannot guarantee that the watch parts that I use for my creations are nickel free, but usually I try to attach them in a way that they don't touch the wearer's skin (except the whole watch movements that some pendants are based on). However other supplies I'm using, like beads and wire, most definitely are. I mostly use copper wire (bare or plated).
Accepted payment methods
I can sometimes reserve an item for you for a week at most (more if you're a returning customer).
I can only ship to the address you have stated in you PayPal account, so please don't ask me to ship to different addresses because it's against PayPal regulations and I could get in trouble if I did.
I'm really sorry about the high shipping price, but I don't have much influence over that. The shipping cost is calculated by the weight of an item. The smallest registered letter costs almost 7 EUR in Ireland (which is about 8.7 USD) plus the envelope. You can check the postage rates at their website: http://postage.anpost.ie/
I usually ship items once or twice a week (except holiday/Valentine's day season, more often then). If you want to receive your item before a certain date, please let me know so I can ship it in time.
I don't use courier service like DHL or UPS, because a shipping of a single package even to European countries would cost about EUR 60, which is ridiculous.
Refunds and Exchanges
I ship all my items in bubble envelopes, so they shouldn't get damaged during shipping. If this happens anyway, please let me know, I may be able to tell you how to fix minor damages (disattached elements), or fix them myself after you send them back.
If a package goes missing or stuck (due to bad weather, holiday season delays etc), I can't be held responsible. I can give you a tracking number to help figure out where it's been. I don't give refunds for lost or robbed mail - Irish post doesn't insure packages with jewellery.
