Do you NEED a handcrafted ribbon ukulele lei to become a great ukulele player? Uh, probably not. Will it make you super happy and warm the hearts of all who watch you play? Absolutely. Ukuhappy’s collection of leis inspired by plumeria and hibiscus flowers comes in a rainbow of colors that, when placed at the top of your uke neck, will infuse your songs with a bit of the tropics from which the instrument was born.

Aloha! My name is Yoko(yoo hee).
I was born and raised in Japan, I majored in film and worked as a fashion magazine editor, until several years ago when I married my husband and moved with him to South Korea. My husband is a professional guitarist and he and me loves to play the ukulele from time to time, And,so naturally I became interested in the beauty of the ukulele.

In 2014, I began toying with the idea of creating more beautiful and fun ukulele accessories. What emerged are beautiful and unique ukulele cases and lush Hibiscus and Plumeria ribbon leis. their items are a way to honor and apply the use of traditional crafts of the Hawaiian ribbon lei. All parts of the petals are created carefully, one by one, with a ribbon by my diligent and skilled hand.

These accessories will make the atmosphere goes well with the music when you playing.I will sometimes publish the ukulele playing.(in Instagram and YouTube)
At that time, I always put a flower decoration. so ukulele looks very beautifully.
