Welcome to Ultimate Organic Soap!

There are a lot of great soaps selling on Etsy, all of which are great for your skin no matter where it is found: hands, feet, face, tummy, elbows, etc.

All of my soaps are made using the FRENCH MILLING PROCESS. This means that after I have made my COLD PROCESSED soap, and after it has cured, I melt it down a second time. It is here that I add my extra ingredients that come directly from Nature. These ingredients include, but are not limited to: spices, home grown and dried mint, vegetables such as cucumber or carrot, flowers, seaweed, and wild herbs/plants found from my countryside cabin. Because I use a FRENCH MILLING PROCESS, less of the beneficial qualities of the ingredients are destroyed by the lye and the curing process.

A second reason as to why FRENCH MILLED soap is great is that it is much more concentrated, and lasts much longer than regular commercial and cold pressed soaps. While you pay slightly more for FRENCH MILLED soap, you get a lot more value for your hard earned dollar.

For more information on my philosophy, feel free to check out my blog here: http://ultimateorganicsoaps.blogspot.com/

My soaps will will change from season to season as I plan to harvest from nature. The spices that are found in my soaps are purchased from the local Asian and Middle Eastern Community in Bergen. I've been purchasing from them for years, both for my soaps and my cooking and find their merchandise to be of top quality.

And.... this is new - I have just entered into contracts with two women who are experienced in growing holistic/organic herbs. I expect to incorporate over 20 different types as summer comes to an end.

Finally, my soaps are made simply, from just a few ingredients. I use primarily olive oil, sunflower oil and coconut oil. There are many members in my family who have problems with dry skin, allergies and exceme. My soaps have been very beneficial to them. In addition, I personally use my soaps on myself and it has been years since I have had cracked hands in the winter time (and this is Norway - with long, cold, dark winters!) and cracked feet (even though I have a job that keeps me on my feet 8 hours a day).

I do, on occasion, use essential oils as these too are natural products and not synthetic. When I do use them, they are used sparingly. Thus my soaps do not have any overwhelming fragrances that will bother those with allergies. PERFUMES ARE NOT USED IN MY PRODUCTS.

A-post takes 7 - 10 days to places outside of Europe. B-post takes 20 - 30 days to places outside of Europe. It of course must be noted that ALL packages can be stopped by customs for up to 8 weeks. Luckily this has only happened to me once in over 7 years of on-line selling.

I normally ship twice a week. Wednesdays and Saturday mornings. Some exceptions may occur due to business trips/courses due to my day job. days.

My soaps are packaged in white parchment paper with a fabric bow. Both are re-usable and/or recyclable. This is both good for the environment and also is much lighter than other packing options, meaning I can pack as much soap into each order that is possible, giving my customers the best deal possible.

It does happen on occasion that packages can be held up at customs, which can delay the arrival of products for up to 6 weeks. Luckily this happens very rarely. In 10 years of experience of sending packages back and forth to my friends around the world (and I have lots of international friends) I have only experienced this once.
