About

The visual arts are about setting my spirit free.

I am a full time visual artist from Alberta, Canada. I have been making pictures and following other creative pursuits since I was old enough to hold a crayon. My formal education is in photography and the fibre arts, but painting is my first love that I've never quit chasing.

I take photographs to show how I see the world, I paint to show how I feel the world.

The ability to effectively express myself through the visual arts has led me on a lifelong learning experience which continually challenges me. My goal is to tell the stories, or express the emotions, which lie deep within my soul and have those images stir something that forms a connection with another kindred spirit.

I am inspired by the work of the Soviety, Dutch and French Impressionists. I am a juried member of the Alberta Society of Artists, Federation of Canadian Artists, and Oil Painters of America. My work hangs in private and public collections around the world.

Production partners

  • A community driven production studio that custom creates high quality printed artwork.

    Montreal, QC

I am using this manufacturer for photos, because of their ability to deliver a quality product at a fair price, and their commitment to ethical practices. Their employees are paid a fair wage, above minimum wage to start, and all breaks are paid.

  • An industry leading premier professional photography and press printing lab

    MN, United States

This manufacturer's sole concern is producing a top quality product. Their core belief is "if you don't look good, we don't good". They place a high value on honesty and integrity, a quality lacking in many businesses today.

Care instructions

Cleaning: All paintings are varnished. To care for your painting simple dust it with a clean cloth periodically. If the work becomes heavily soiled it would be best to seek professional help in cleaning.

Framing: Unmounted paintings can be either mounted to a solid surface (heavy foam core, hardboard, etc.) or stretched. I highly recommend mounting as this creates the most stable and archival presentation.

Oil and acrylic paintings do not require framing with glass, and it is best if they are left open to breath. Charcoal, pastel, and watercolour works are best framed behind glass.
