About UninventedColors
The Therapist Photographer
My Etsy shop began during a time of lots of (unexpected) transition in my life. In a short time, I was a college student, a grad student, a sick person, a healing person, a well person, a youth minister, a Sunday School teacher, a crisis therapist, and a grad student (again.) I lived in Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia (again), and Mississippi. Somewhere in the middle of all of that, I decided that I'm an artist. These days, I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast with my husband and our two children and work as a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice. My favorite moments are the ones when a therapy client says, "Oh! I never looked at it that way before!" That's my goal as a therapist, and I'm realizing that it's my goal as an artist, too. I hope my images inspire you to see God's creation in a new and more beautiful way.
