5 out of 5 starsWithers Wool has some of the most beautiful yarn I've ever bought... and to my husband's dismay, I purchase a LOT of yarn.

International Fiber Artist
My passion for fiber extends from raising the animals, shearing them to washing, carding, dyeing, felting, spinning, weaving, knitting and crocheting their fibers into works of art from patterns that I create. It's a process that expands over days, weeks, months and years. A true labor of love.
Everyday is a new adventure as I experiment with color, textures and designs. Some days fly and the light is going down and the temps have dropped and I have to remind myself to eat.
I am an artist. My animals need feed, medicines, fencing, etc. so this necessitates my selling yarns and such so I can maintain my herd and flock.
My husband supports my art venture and helps with chores, shearing, moving animals around pastures and tends the animals when I go to art shows. Yes, he has even delivered ewes.
It is a feat to run a farm. It can be a financial hardship when something goes wrong. It takes a lot of time even when your body hurts, there is snow and ice on the ground and you just want to curl up. Then, I look out at my herd and know that they rely on us to care for them.
Yarns are priced accordingly but do not cover all of the expenses or effort.
Thank you for supporting our farm and my artweaving passion.

Owner, Fiber Artist
Fiber player for years and an official fiber artist addict. I experiment and do not measure unless it is a skein of yarn for sale. I'm an artist full of creative ideas so so I'm always working on a new design; not recreating what I've done.
