So much oak, so little time!

The double rocking chair pictured was my first Wine Barrel project made for my daughter and groom to be as a present for their wedding in 2002. Since that time I kept acquiring more barrels and designing and making more items. My swings became the most popular items at the craft shows I was attending, adding the wine glass holder almost doubled my sales!
I came up with the idea of balancing and hanging the individual pieces of a barrel lid to make a wind or "wine" chime. With a soft, wood percussion and undulating motion, they are real attention-getters. It took over a year of mostly trial and error before coming up with a design that will never break, then I invested in a CNC machine to
carve designs on them. I have sold many of my own designs over the last few years but now am making more custom designs for businesses and homeowners.
