I am the proud mother of a beautiful little girl. Since my daughter’s birth, I see a lot of things in a new light and have different priorities. One of those is ensuring that I am making a more positive impact on the planet she is growing up on. I want her to see the Earth as a thing of beauty and not take it for granted. UnXpected Beauty is my way of making a contribution towards that goal by using only organic products, ethically sourced palm oil, and no added chemicals or substances that our skin doesn't like. I stumbled upon some cold process soap videos one day and it amazed me to see the cool designs that could be done with soap and on top of that it was vegan and the entire process was made to be as environmentally friendly as possible for the soap maker. I decided I wanted to try cold process soap for myself and thus made my first batch which cause me to fall in love with soap making. The idea of making something from scratch with a low impact on the environment but is still luxurious and cleansing is amazing to me. I hope others will join my in my UnXpected journey in aiding to preserve Earth's beauty one bar of soap at a time
