Love this bright and fun yarn!!!! Soft and squishy. These 2 hanks are destined to become a Shusui Shrug along with the blue in the photo.

About

This Is Where The Magic Happens

My love for yarn and fiber arts all started when I became pregnant with my first child and wanted to make her cute little crochet hats. I bought a "Crochet for Dummies" book and a set of hooks and I was "hooked" for life.

I started off with department store yarn, but was quickly disappointed with the quality and color range of the mass produced yarns. I began to research dyeing my own yarn and thus began my love affair with luxury fiber yarns and all of the color combination possibilities that came with hand dyeing. I started crocheting items made with my hand dyed yarns, but there was SO much demand for the yarns themselves that I decided to offer them to my fellow yarn enthusiasts.

My shop is a one woman operation. Everything, from dyeing the yarn to naming it, photographing it and listing it is all done by me. Its a labor of love and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I strive to offer a unique shop experience from the colorways themselves down to the fun, quirky names and inspiration stories that go along with each colorway. It can be time consuming and at times, difficult, but to me, following this dream is worth every struggle.

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

I am taking custom orders on all house colorways. Because these colorways are dyed in either 2 or 3 skein batches, there will be a minimum order of 2-3 skeins, depending on the colorway, and be in multiples of either 2 or 3. Payment is due, in full, at the time of the request. Work will start on your order as soon as possible after payment is made.

Care instructions

Most of my yarns are superwash, meaning they can be machine washed on a gentle cycle. However, to ensure longevity of your finished work, I recommend hand washing in cold water with gentle detergent/wool wash. Always lay your items flat to dry.

Returns/Exchanges

Returns/Exchanges will be accepted as long as the yarn/fiber is in pristine, unused condition and as long as contact is made within 14 days of receipt and item is returned to me before 30 days of receipt. Buyer is responsible for return shipping. Refund or exchange will not be made until original yarn is received by me.

Do you make repeatable colorways?

YES! I currently offer a selection of colorways that are repeatable. Please keep in mind that, due to the nature of hand dyed yarn, there will be variations between batches and even some slight variations between skeins coming from the same batch.

Are you pet allergy friendly?

No. We have one indoor cat who we do not allow to snuggle the yarn. However, a stray hair or two may get into the studio.

What are "House" Colorways?

House colorways are our variegated, repeatable colorways that are not a part of a collection of colorways. That means that if they sell out, they will be restocked unless discontinued.
