I had an unfortunate incident with these boots (through NO fault of the seller - it was entirely the USPS's fault - they lost the package). Beautiful sandals. One cord loose from the sole between the toes after 1-2 use. The sole was slightly thicker and stiffer than I expected but gives nice protection on hard surface but is little thicker for barefoot style shoes.
