Hi! My name is Taylor Salisbury and I'm the maker and creator behind Urban Jungle Design.

My love for macrame started in the summer of 2017 when I made my very first plant hanger. After discovering how therapeutic it was to work with my hands and how endless the possibilities were with just a few knots, I was hooked. My passion quickly grew as I explored different knots and weaving techniques, and began applying them to make modern macrame wall hangings. I opened up Urban Jungle Design in October 2017 and have been happily creating ever since.

Working from my home studio in Toronto, Canada, I now make unique, one-of-a-kind macrame and woven wall hangings, plant hangers, and do-it-yourself kits. I love sharing my passion with others through hands-on macrame workshops and e-books so I can connect with creatives all over the world. I also offer a variety of easy-to-follow patterns and macrame supplies like rope, rings, and hooks for beginners wanting to start their own macrame journey.

All of my pieces are handmade with love and high-quality Canadian materials. I do my very best to source local and Canadian-made materials so I can make proudly Canadian products for your home.
