urns

A one-of-a-kind vessel for a one-of-a-kind life.

Claremont, New Hampshire

Announcement    Welcome to my vessels and urns shop!
2020 marks my 20th year as a full time professional potter.
Each piece of pottery is handmade on my potters wheel.
I use a mix of porcelain white clays.
I have collected over 20 glaze recipes that I formulate and make in my studio.
I bisque fire each item in my electric kiln at 1888°.
The final glaze firing is done in my gas kiln in a cone 10 (2333°) reduction atmosphere.
After the firing process is complete the bottom of each item is buffed on my diamond wheel to ensure it is smooth and will not scratch any surfaces.
I use 100% recycled materials in packaging for shipping.
Each step is done solely my me, Kristin Lemieux.
I take pride in high quality craftsmanship during every step of my process.
You are welcome to follow my process on Facebook and Instagram @clearmountaincraft

When selecting an urn it is important to know 1 pound pre-cremation is equivalent to 1 cubic inch of cremation ash.

If you have any questions please feel free to call, text or email.
