About UrubuArtisan

From the log to the spoon

Approaching a Swedish method, Urubu's creations are carved with an ax and a knife within the greatest respect for nature. The craftsman himself will harvest the wood in the forest, from a log, a branch freshly broken by strong winds or a tree cut by others. Subsequently, the raw shape of the spoon is shaped with an ax and a knife. Then the utensil is dried and polished with a knife to be finally coated with a quality Canadian hemp oil.

The whole process is in the hands of the craftsman.

Urubu is a homecoming. An ecological quest in a plastic world. A tribute to nature and to a time when we lived more in simplicity.

Urubu is hand-carved wooden spoons, one of a kind.
