Note from shop owner I will be taking a 'vacation' from the shop until mid-August. With all the changes COVID has brought, I need to refresh and regroup. As we await a decision from the schools to see if they open or how they are going to proceed, know that my heart is with all you parents and your kiddos! Spring was weird, summer was unusual, and fall is yet to be determined...but we all know that our kids come first and we are going to do the best that we can for them <3

Fun for the family

In early 2013 Meredith's family discovered the versatility and fun of using buttons and magnets. It all started with chore magnets and they are still the most requested item by far...

The best part about Useful Buttons is that they are TANGIBLE! They are things kids can hold and move, they have weight and texture, they are visual reminders of what needs to be done.

In this age of technology, where there is an app for everything (including virtual chore tracking) we are intentionally UNPLUGGING our kids from the tech, and plugging them IN to FAMILY! We are teaching them how to do household chores, giving them a sense of responsibility and accomplishment, and how to work together as part of a community.

We also make calendar magnets, teacher gifts, math learning sets, games and all sorts of other fun things, like wedding favors. We love to work with you. Have an idea or request - just email or message us.

We try to ship as quickly and inexpensively as possible. You can find tracking numbers for your package on the etsy "My purchases" page.

Custom designs? We LOVE making magnets to fit your visions! Please feel free to convo us with any questions prior to ordering. There is a small fee for custom chore magnets of $2/design. For wedding favor magnets, anything outside of what is pictured in the listing will have a $15-20 design/set up charge depending on the size of your order.

If you place an order without providing a list of magnets or include custom chores that haven't been paid for, we will make all attempts to contact you in regards to your order. If we do not receive a response within a reasonable amount of time, we reserve the right to send orders as pictured in the listing and/or to provide appropriate substitutes for unpaid customs.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
If for any reason you are not 100% happy with your purchase, please return THE UNUSED ITEM for a full refund (minus shipping) within 2 weeks. ALL SALE ITEMS AND CUSTOM ORDERS ARE FINAL.
Payment
I accept PayPal, credit cards, check, and money orders. Please pay within 2 days of placing your order. I am also open to trades. Please message me.
Shipping
All orders will be well packaged. Your order will be shipped via USPS First Class or Priority Mail within 7-10 business days of receiving payment. Shipping costs include delivery confirmation (within the US). For orders of 50 or more magnets insurance is included for up to $50.

I try to keep shipping costs as low as possible. Most order ship for $4.95 - $7.95 within the US. I can combine items in your order. Please see the listings or message me if you have any questions.

For items shipped to Canada, PLEASE ALLOW 10-14 DAYS FOR DELIVERY once shipped. Lately I have had reports of packages to Canada sometimes taking even up to 3 weeks. If you need it quickly message me and we can upgrade shipping to priority international mail.
