I bought this for my husband for our eighth anniversary... brass! I can't wait to give it to him.

Into my heart's treasury I slipped a coin, that time cannot take nor a thief purloin.
Oh, better than the minting of a gold crowned king is the safe-kept memory of a lovely thing.

Refunds and Exchanges
The Post Office Doors are old and have been in use for many, many years. I test the combination many multiple times before assembling the safe, and again right before it is shipped out when I insert the note in your safe. Should you have any difficulty opening the door I will do my best to help you. In most cases, there is a photo in your listing of the door with the combination set, or a detailed instruction at the bottom of the listing that tells you how to work the combination. If all this fails, contact me and I will help to troubleshoot the problem.
Buyer pays shipping on all returned items.
Refunds will be issued once the item has been returned to me in the condition I shipped it.
Additional policies and FAQs
The Post Office Doors - metal content - MOST of those made are cast Bronze, but I also use BRASS in the description because almost everyone in the world calls them brass doors and that is the common term by which they are known.. I look them up in my collector's book to determine the metal as best I can regarding the Maker and Age.
I recently decided that some books deserve a reprieve. They are getting a third chance at my other shop, ustabeeTWO. Check it out for nice vintage and antique books at a reasonable price.
Some OLD & ODD items can be found in my other store, handmaidmarian. The old and odd can describe me and my wares.
