Do Meaningful Things
In 2017, I met the love of my life, Jennifer. We wed at the Museum of Flight in Seattle in 2018, and live in 1,900 sq ft home in the suburbs on a greenbelt. In 2020, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, which had reached Stage 4 as an aggressive type. With an aggressive treatment plan (note Stage 4 means incurable and metastatic), and a different outlook on life and living, I've taken up hobbies that give me meaning and fulfillment. For now, my cancer is under control using hormonal therapy. I've learned that love, beauty, and humor are the critical things in a happy life, and we all deserve that. I want my shop to share my love for the craft, the beauty of being on the road, and the humor of trying to do both!
After being a USAF Captain, a seasoned 20-year Microsoft employee, a 18 month Amazon employee, and a 7 year INRIX employee, I've moved away from being a classic Tech Worker, and now act in a consulting capacity for those keen on process improvement within their own business activity. My favorite role was being an ISO 9001 Lead Internal Auditor because it allowed me to learn all aspects of the business and it's processes.
My Etsy shop is where I share my work, primarily 3D print designs. It's the spare bedroom. Jenn and I love to maintain bike, hike, eat healthy, and take road trips in our 2020 Ford Transit we converted to an adventure van. Nowadays, Jenn works at Microsoft after a career in aerospace as a rocket scientist nicknamed "Torch". My shop is my full-time work. Testing new filaments for color, thermals, speed, and taking all forms of feedback into what I do.
If you've read this far, you deserve to treat yourself to some fun BLING for your van or workshop! If you already have, please leave a review and help let other know what you think about what's of meaning to me -- the quality and usefulness of my designs.
