ABOUT ME


I always loved drawing, painting, creating all type of things extremely colorful since my earliest childhood. In my 20ies I have drawn inspiration from the places I would travel to as a fashion model and used that inspiration to create. I was able to experience first hand the world of fashion through modeling.

As my passion grew and I felt unfulfilled, I decided to follow my primary passion and graduate as fashion designer at the Marangoni Fashion Institute in Milan, to expand my talents and develop new skills in fashion design. After graduating and working for few brands in Milan, I decided to create my own : Van Burk Official.

Eight years ago now, I found myself being drawn to the Californian coastlines and I decided to pursue new life and inspiration by moving out there. I set up my studio and began exploring my new home, discovering the colorful heart of California's coast which gave birth to a new vision in my art.
Van Burk Official has taken California sunshine to the next level with a newest line of vibrant hand painted one of a kind vegan leather jackets. I developped a new style: abstract-expressionism seemed to answer all questions of my heart and became part of me.

My brand's motto is "Wear Your True Colors", which stands for equality, human rights, self confidence and of course Love.

I encourage people to embrace their personality to the fullest and to color the streets of the world one colorful jacket at the time 🧚🏻
