Announcement   Hello! Welcome to Fiber, Walk With Me! All listings are hand crafted with fingers that did not contribute to the death of Laura Palmer. They weren't forged in the Black Lodge, so they emanate love and happiness, perhaps with a stray cat hair from Isaac Brock the Cat (but not cigarette smoke)! Even the meanly phrased ones give off happy vibes because I imbue the fibers with cheer as I make them to keep Bob away.

All the framed works are put into frames that have been rescued from thrift shops; I find it's easier to find interesting frames at thrift shops rather than those brand new ones (you know all those mondern-y ones you find everywhere). Most of these frames have a big story of their own, which I think contributes to the overall character of each stitched piece. Not to mention I can get great deals on thrifted frames so I can keep my cost down for you!

*Because these are all one-of-a-kind works, I ship everything USPS Priority. This means they include tracking, and packages usually arrive a few days after shipping! If you'd like to upgrade shipping on an item or delivery confirmation, please let me know ahead of time so I can give you a quote and adjust the shipping price on your item before you purchase it! I ship items within 3 days of receiving payment; if you need it to be shipped sooner, I'm happy to oblige if I can, so just let me know!

*If you are buying this as a gift and want it shipped directly to the recipient, I'm happy to exclude the receipt and instead include a gift message, so please let me know in the notes during your purchase!

About

Fiber art is a passion I couldn't drop if I wanted.

I've been obsessed with string and fiber art since I was a kid. My mom tried to get me into cross stitch because it was a passion of hers (it still is; she wins blue ribbons at fairs!). It never stuck because she was pressuring me to do it. I eventually picked up knitting on my own in my early 20's. I do it in phases, but it's a hobby I know I'll have my whole life. After moving to Portland, OR from South Carolina, I tried my hand at crewel embroidery, using kits from my friend Emily at Tako Fibers (https://www.etsy.com/shop/takofibers).

And now I have come full circle back to cross stitch. I've discovered a love for it on my own terms, taking inspiration from things I love and making my own patterns!

I was born and grew up in Spartanburg, South Carolina. I met the love of my life when I was 12 and married him when I was 24. On 11-11-11, we quit our jobs, sold nearly everything we owned, packed up one car, and moved to Portland, Oregon.

I love anything having to do with fiber art, and it's something I haven't been able to escape from since I was a wee lass. It began with my mom trying to get me to cross stitch when I was a kid. It never stuck because, of course, SHE wanted me to do it! In my teens, I experimented with my mom's old sewing machine, making really weird purses with no patterns to go by. I eventually picked up knitting on my own in my early 20's. Since moving to Portland, I've fallen in love with embroidery (mostly thanks to my dear friend at Tako Fibers right here on Etsy). And now, it's all come full circle back to cross stitch, something I have come to love on my own now that I am doing my own pieces.

You being here means that you care about hand made things, and that lifts my heart the same way Agent Cooper does. *swoon* Thank you so much for looking around. Should you decide to purchase from me, I will do all within my power to make it a smooth and extraordinary experience for both of us.
