I love 60s and 70s fashion and all things embroidered!

Lifelong treasure hunter and fashion fanatic opens up shop!

I've had a lifelong love of fashion since I can remember, though it wasn't always pretty (oh, those middle school years in poufy flowered rompers!). My mom would take me thrifting and I'd end up with some really weird stuff, but the thrill of the hunt was so exciting to me and I've never lost that feeling. In 2009 I opened my first Etsy shop, Love To Love You, where I showcase and sell my handmade clothing line. In 2014 I decided to sell off some of the vintage that had overgrown my closet as a way of making a little extra money, and Velvet Goldmine Shop was born. Not content with simply selling my own clothes, I decided to start hunting for treasures for other people instead of just for myself, and to break of the monotony of sewing in my basement all the day long. I finally had a reason to buy that amazing dress that didn't fit me and pass it on to someone else. I hope you enjoy my finds as much as I do.
