Colorful and sturdy. It is perfect as a lap blanket (or doll blanket as my granddaughter likes to use it.).

About

vermontsnuggery knits

I created vermontsnuggery in 2010 as an outlet for yarn and knitted models from my real, live, in-person yarn shop that I had at that time. After closing my street view yarn shop I continued selling here on etsy. I unloaded most of my leftover yarn from the shop here on etsy, and then moved on to knitting and selling hats, shawls, scarves, etc.

The name of my shop comes from the concept of a snug, warm home--someplace to spend the long Vermont winters reading, knitting or whatever. I imagine a fireplace or wood stove with a fire burning, a cat or dog dozing on the rug, and a person reading, sewing, knitting--whatever they enjoy while the snow falls outside the window. I made up the word "snuggery" but have since been told that it is the name of the warm place newborn lambs are kept. As I make things to sell I try to imagine the person that might eventually have the item. I always hope that person has a happy life, and if not, then maybe the thing I am making will bring them at least a moment of joy.

I have favorite yarns I like to work with. I only use the highest quality yarns for several reasons. My time is precious and so is your money, so I hold myself to a high standard of quality. I have been knitting since I was 8, but I am not going to tell you how many years I've been knitting.

I also own DollQuiltShop here on etsy, where I sell doll quilts that I have made. They are exquisite little creations and I suggest you take a look there.
