Hello, there! Welcome to my shop. All items are handmade by me with love in my little studio here in Des Moines, iowa.

Please ask me if you have questions about any of the items in my shop. I would be more than happy to send you extra photos or answer any questions you might have before making a purchase so that you can be sure of buying something you're happy with, rather than have to offer a refund later.

I welcome custom orders. If you see something you'd like in a different size or color, send me a conversation and I'll see what I can do for you. Please allow up to 5 extra business days for custom orders unless we arrange something else.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Returns and exchange details
I hope that you love the item that you bought, but if for some reason you're unhappy with it or it doesn't work out for you, I'll be glad to offer you a refund (minus the shipping cost) within 5 days of receipt of the item. Returns are only accepted if items show no signs of use or damage and are still in excellent condition. Please take great care in shipping the item back to me as I am not responsible if the item gets lost and will not offer a refund if this happens. Please contact me before you return the item to me if you wish to request a refund.

I'm sorry, but I can't offer refunds on any custom orders.
Payment
Payment is expected at the time of purchase. I accept payments through PayPal and with credit cards. If you choose to use the eCheck method, I will ship your order after the payment clears. This usually takes 3-4 business days. Your transaction will be canceled if payment is not made within two days.

I am required by law to charge sales tax in Iowa. So if you are a resident of Iowa, sales tax will automatically be added to your order by Etsy and will appear in your final total when you make your payment.

If you are a resident of the United Kingdom, you may be required to pay an import VAT for items that cost 15£ or more. Your package will be held in customs until you pay the tax. You can read more about the tax here: www.hmrc.gov.uk/customs/post/buying.htm#3 If you refuse to pay the VAT and thereby refuse the package, I will only refund your purchase (minus the shipping) only after the item has been sent back to me. Be aware that this may take several months.

If you'd like me to hold something for you, please send me a conversation. I can hold an item for you for up to three days (unless we make other arrangements). If I don't hear from you within that time, I will relist the item.

All custom orders must be paid for up front unless we make other arrangements.
Shipping
All purchases are shipped within two business days of payment. I ship via USPS First Class Mail with delivery confirmation, which usually takes 2-5 days. Insurance and tracking are not included; however, if you would like to add either or upgrade to Priority Mail, send me a conversation before sending payment and I will add that to your order. I will send you a revised invoice with a new total if you pay with PayPal. You will receive an e-mail when I have shipped your order.

I ship international orders using USPS First Class International. This service does not offer tracking information and the packages can definitely take their time arriving. Please be aware that international packages can take up to four weeks in some locations. So please be patient. I ship everything right away, so please keep this in mind while you are waiting.

I'm sorry, but I'm not responsible for any damage done in shipping. If you're worried about that, feel free to ask me to add insurance to your shipping costs.

For those of you who know me personally, live in Des Moines and would like to pick up your purchase in person, you can waive the shipping fee by sending me a conversation before you pay for your purchase. I will send you a coupon code for free shipping. Make sure you contact me BEFORE you click on the Pay button. We can make arrangements for pickup.
