Vintage fashion curated with dark aesthetics in mind by artist and model Casstronaut. Inspired by the macabre, forgotten pasts, nostalgia, and an indifference toward modern fashion and a love for the old. All harvested in Nashville, TN.

Vespere Vintage came about when curator Cassie Meder began fervently picking through piles of precious "junk" throughout various estate sales in her new home in Nashville. Cassie is originally from Portland, Oregon, but hunting for treasures in the Pacific Northwest was becoming quite dull, as the western side of the United States is much younger than that of the east and the south. Inspired by the colonial architecture, the dark history, and the overall antique culture of her new home, she became overwhelmed and felt that she needed to collect it all. That's right, the buildings and monuments and everything. But alas, there's no closet room in the SS Casstronaut for a house full of vintage, so she felt that joining the ranks of vintage sellers would appease her hunger for the hunt.

There's a great desire within all of us to connect with our past. There's a great desire within us to preserve and protect what we already do have. Buying second hand clothing preserves the past and also puts one more dent in the fast fashion industry that only produces waste and abolishes any uniqueness we have left.

I love only having to answer to myself and my customers. I love caring about what I do and being able to combine life and work. And I love the appreciation I receive from my customers, whether it be intentional or unintentional support.

So thank you in advance, and I hope to please all of you, as I make your needs my utmost priority.

    Casstronaut (Cassie by birth) is a seasoned freelance filmmaker, illustrator, and model from Portland, Oregon. She now resides in Nashville, Tennessee where she mostly only talks to her black cat and watches a lot of Star Trek.

    John is an award winning filmmaker with quite an impressive resume - we're not quite sure how he got into this fashion mess. Probably because Cassie needs to be fed and watered as she forgets she's human. He also captures her essence in photo form.

Shipping
We do combine shipping to save you money! Items being shipping within the U.S. will be posted via Priority Mail with insurance. Really light weight items will be shipped by First Class Mail to save you money on shipping costs.

If you are in need of an item as soon as possible, shipping via Express Mail is an option. If you think you may need shipped by Express Mail it is very important that you contact us BEFORE purchasing with your zip code so we can give you a shipping quote and shipping time. Sometimes Express Mail does not arrive the next day based on your location.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

Vespere ships worldwide and does combine shipping costs. We ship by First Class International Mail with insurance (required and already included in the shipping price). Although if an item weighs more than one pound, Priority Mail International shipping is required.

Also please note that your country may charge an import tax, duty fee, VAT (Value Added Tax), or customs possessing fee. If you are charged a fee upon receipt of your package this due to your countries laws. This is NOT an additional fee I am charging. Each country has different rules regarding these fees. If you need more info regarding import taxes and fees its best to contact your local postal office or refer to their website for more info.

YOU, the CUSTOMER is responsible for purchasing insurance. If insurance is not purchased, we cannot guarantee we can compensate for any damages or losses as a result of faulty handling by the postal service. We are NOT responsible for items lost or damaged in the mail. We will do our best to reconcile damages or losses with USPS's insurance policies to get your money back, but please keep in mind that each situation varies and USPS will act accordingly based on the situation. Resolved insurance disputes with USPS are not always guaranteed. Please visit the "insurance" section of our shop to purchase insurance.
Refunds and Exchanges
No returns or exchanges. Due to the vintage/previously-owned
nature of our items, we do not accept returns on items that do
not fit or that were not properly researched on the customer's part. All information is listed within the item's description. If there's more you need to know, please ask.

If you are not a 100% happy with your purchase please email us before leaving negative feedback. We work very hard at customer service and really want your experience to be a great one.
