4 out of 5 starsThis was a gift for my mother who has taken up watercolor in her retirement. I can't speak to the use or quality personally, but she said she likes it and has put it to instant use.

5 out of 5 starsI love the colors and artwork on this bud vase. I am so excited to pair it with another bud vase that I got a few years ago from Jeanette. The bud vase looks exactly as pictured and described, it arrived safely and within the anticipated time frame, and it was packaged very thoughtfully. Thank you so much!!

Cliche, but true: it is all in the details.
Making pottery for your everyday celebrations.
Jeanette Zeis Ceramics is a tiny pottery in Portland, Oregon. Having recently moved to the Pacific Northwest from Atlanta, Georgia- Jeanette is trying to balance long hikes in the woods with a productive pottery studio practice.
Kenn Twofour provides the photography skills and the behind-the-scenes cheerleading.
A full-time potter since 2008, Jeanette loves working with clay. It is a constant source of awe and education. If she isn't actually making pots, chances are pretty good that she is thinking about making pots.
Her pottery line contains beautiful and original housewares. Wonderfully crafted, with an eye for detail. Gorgeous pieces for everyday use and for lovely displays. An admirer of vintage housewares, her color palette reflects a love for fiesta ware. The details are often inspired by crystal and textiles. A bit of tufting from an antique sofa. A scallop from her grandmother's cut-glass collection. And it is her hope that her pottery pieces will be passed on for generations, becoming a treasured heirloom, in the same way that the items she is inspired by often are.
VeganDish is a reflection of her veganism and desire to spread awareness. A simple way to start a conversation with a co-worker or friend about the advantages to humans and animals of adopting a vegan lifestyle. Made for vegans, by a vegan.
Many thanks to Sarah Kramer for her support and using VeganDish in the 10th anniversary edition of the quintessential cookbook "How It All Vegan."

Moral Support
Thankfully, Kenn takes the photos. Otherwise, Jeanette would never list anything in her etsy store. He also does a supreme job of cheerleading. Kenn has his own etsy store- http://www.etsy.com/shop/TwofourManufacturing
Shop policies
My microwave-safe disclaimer: They are fine for re-heating water-based items and drinks. But, really, it is my opinion and experience that handmade pottery will weaken over time with prolonged microwave-use, eventually leading to cracking. So for the sake of keeping your pottery for many years, please do not use in the microwave.
Accepted payment methods
Returns and exchanges
(Returns must be made within 45 days of purchase.)
Returns are not accepted for custom items- unless a mistake has been made on my part (in which case, I will offer to remake that item or refund the item.)
Buyer pays half of the shipping costs on the return item and is responsible for its secure delivery back to me. Money will not be refunded until the item has been (safely) received by me.
Breakage: On the off-chance that there is breakage during shipping, I will refund your purchase or exchange it. Broken pottery must be photographed and/or returned.
Payment
Personal checks are also accepted. Order will not be shipped until check has been received and has cleared (can take up to 2 weeks.)
Shipping
Orders are shipped using USPS. I use both parcel post and priority shipping. Usually packages arrive within one week of shipment. I can expedite shipping, if needed- just get in touch for a price quote.
Tracking/delivery confirmation through USPS is always used.
All international orders are shipped via USPS First-Class or Priority (depending on the weight.)
International shipping charges are very expensive for the heavy breakable pieces. I generally ship first class USPS for international shipments under 4 pounds (a mug is 2 pounds when packed for shipping), and priority for shipments over 4 pounds (10" cake stands are 7 pounds when packed for shipping.) The buyer is responsible for customs fees, VAT, and any other destination country expenses that may be incurred. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay these charges- I am unable to predict or pay these additional fees.
