4 out of 5 starsI wish I could give 5 stars :-( Most beautiful bag I've ever seen! Very well made & just beautiful! However, poor communication & planning by vibrant designs. She ran out of an integral piece of the back pack & didn't inform me until I asked for a status. And, this was after a back order on the fabric I chose (not her fault, but I would have appreciated an email letting me know). She was very sweet & kind every time I contacted her which made the wait easier. I ordered the backpack on April 1 and it was received May 22. Fortunately, vibrant designs offered an additional item (a wristlet) for the delay. This is not a negative review, at all, just make sure to order approx 2 months in advance.

I have a 6 year old daughter who reminds me every day of the first time I picked up my sewing machine and made my first bag. It was my own pattern because I was too afraid to try my hand at a store bought pattern! With a 2 year old boy and my first girl on the way, I got to work. I loved using my own bag! The success of my diaper bag spurned me on the create a purse for my sister the following Christmas. She loved it! And I was hooked! Many gifts later I got my slow start on etsy.
I now get to sell my personal designs for others to enjoy!! With each bag, diaper bag, backpack, wristlet, or clutch I ship I wonder...who will use this? I hope they love it!
My little shop, Vibrant Designs, is based out of one of the many valleys in southeastern Indiana...right between a sparkling creek and a very large hill. We spend our days exploring the outside, caring for the grounds, and of course...sewing and more sewing! My favorite part about owning this little business is that I can work from my home to create a beautiful product that people will enjoy for years. I hope that my product is not just a purse or piece of jewelry, but a keepsake that will be treasured.
This shop has enabled me to stay home with my children...to meet the school bus each day when my kids get off...to be the best mama I can be.

Shop policies
If you are interested in purchasing one of my bags, please note that these bags are made in my smoke free and pet free home. However, during the winter months our home is heated with wood. Care is taken to keep each item from smelling of wood smoke. I do my best on each bag and represent it accurately, to the best of my abilities via words and photos. However, they are handmade. No two are exactly alike, and there will be deviations in stitching, fabric prints, and sizing. For custom orders, I will do my best to make your bag exactly to your specifications. If you are happy with my work, then I am happy!

Returns and exchanges
What is new and un-used condition?
New and un-used condition is the absence of stains, odors, tears or fabric fade. If the product is returned with any of these, there will be no refund. (This includes the smell of smoke.)
Monogrammed and embroidered names have now been added as an option to this shop. If your purchase includes a monogram or personalized name, unfortunately returns cannot be accepted on these items as these products cannot be resold.
Payment
If payment has not been received within 3 days of purchase, the transaction will be cancelled and the item re-listed. HOWEVER, if a problem has come up with you, the buyer, please convo with me! I will work something out via extending the amount of time you have before paying for the product. This is only if we have heard from the buyer within the 3 day time frame. At the end of the 3 days, if we have not heard from the buyer, we will cancel the transaction.
~Cancellation Policy~
If you desire to cancel your order, cancellation must occur within 24 hours of purchase and BEFORE payment has been made. If payment has been made, see return policy below.
Shipping
We use recycled boxes when a box is necessary and if at all possible. Your package will be secure and clearly marked. When a box is not necessary, we use polyolefin envelopes that are none tear. Each bag is carefully wrapped in clean, new tissue paper and tied with bakers twine. If you desire new packaging materials, please convo with me and we will comply with your wishes.
