Girl Makes Fairy-Tales in 3D!

How does it all work? Hard work and maybe a little bit of magic! Well, I started making figures around 1999 when my crazy (read: utterly charming) sister brought home a book for me about doll-making by Susanna Oroyan. She handed it to me and just said "You should do this!" I was flummoxed to say the least. I was completely bewildered by what I was seeing. The beauty of the art I saw in that book was overwhelming. They seemed alive and the possibilities were endless. There were so many different visions and styles that each artist brought out in the creations. I wore that book out! As my curiosity was peaked, I purchased some supplies and got to work! My sister seemed to know exactly that this was the kind of art I could fall in love with. I fell in love with the trials and errors of learning this type of art-form. I fell in love with experimenting with different methods until I finally found my own style. I've spent years trying to improve my skills, and have never stopped trying. I've set up a studio space many years ago, where each figure I make starts with a lump of clay. Each one is entirely hand-made and costumed from scratch so that each and every one is an individual, one of a kind personality. Each one is made with immense love! (Thank you, sis....I love you!) -Victoria

Hello there and Welcome! ! All of the OOAK (One of a Kind) sculptures are hand-made, directly sculpted from polymer clay and the clothing designed and made by hand. No molds were used or were taken of the dolls. Each one is truly unique and I am truly filled with passion for this type of figurative art.
