What's in a name? "Vidalia" stems from one of my favorite Sammy Kershaw songs that talks about a guy named Dale & a gal named Violet that have a baby girl [named Vidalia] so the name is representative of "Violet & Dale" or "Him & Her". Vogue is defined as the prevailing style at a particular time. Just like that, a southern bohemian lifestyle brand is born. Inspiration is everywhere, but admittedly my muses are outlaw country, jungalow home decor, western wear, rustic touches, and all things wildly colorful. My main focus is on jewelry, but you will also find some sewn wares and home goods. I like to use salvaged materials such as gun shells, scrap leather, pallet wood, broken jewelry-- to name a few, and give it a new life.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions & please know I'm not scared of a custom order request. Reach out and we'll see if we can make it happen!

Thanks for stopping by!

About

Creating with a [re]purpose.

Owning an Etsy shop pushes me to work with unfamiliar materials and explore all creative options. Many of my designs come are made from materials that have had a previous life— up cycled fabric, mom’s old jewelry from the 80’s, and empty bullet shells, recycled pallet wood...to name a few. My ultimate goal is to own a store front in hometown of Asheville, NC and fill it with my designs, but until then, this is my creative outlet.
