About

an eclectic life

My life has always been filled with a love of the eclectic, mixing disparate finds that, when combined, form something wonderfully new and inviting. My parents and I would spend 3 out of 4 weekends a month going through the barns and out of the way shops and country auctions of eastern Pennsylvania. The items that we brought home were very rough and needed a good cleaning or an overall redo.

Our house was a mixture of farm feed bins, Victorian hanging chandeliers, fine china, pine hutches, and any other delicious find that would fit with the room's decor. The items were chosen not by their time period, but by their uniqueness and beauty.
Still living that concept today, I hunt for creative and unique pieces that are not generally found in most vintage shops. I love old signs, antique trophies, vintage medical, and much much more---items that add that special, "Where did you get that?" appeal.

My shop has sold to Country Living Magazine, Good Housekeeping Magazine, Restoration Hardware (RH), Vans, Kiehl's, prop and staging companies, and to theatrical companies.

Hope you love the hunt as much as I do!

Refunds and Exchanges
I am not an expert, but I do convey, as accurately as possible, the exact condition of the items. Photos are an important part of the description.

I sell vintage items that have withstood time, but might have gotten "bumped" along the way. For the most part, these items are not perfect.

***Please read the item's description carefully, use the zoom-in feature, as the pictures are part of the description, and ask questions before you purchase. All sales are final.

***I ship using USPS. If an item breaks in shipping, please take very clear photos of the item along with the shipping box and materials and send them to me. I will need these in order to process a refund. Do not throw away any of the shipping materials, as the USPS may need to examine them.

If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me prior to leaving feedback and allow me to rectify the situation. Buyers are responsible for return shipping fees in addition to the original shipping. My customers are extremely important . I want you to love the item as much as I do.
