Beautifully detailed and definitely worthy of being displayed throughout the Holiday Season. The owner of the shop was kind enough to make a special box for mailing and made sure that the cookie tray reached its destination in plenty of time for Christmas gift opening.

VintageFriends items are one-of-a-kind! They've had a life of their own, even if much of it was spent hanging around in a closet or two. They might show slight wear.
I select items for my shop that are in very good or better condition--items I would be delighted to have in my own eclectic home. I'm happy to provide more information on items, so just contact me.
My goal is to provide you with clear photographs and accurate descriptions of jewelry and collectibles, and measurements on clothing and shoes so you know what you are purchasing.
(Please note that colors may vary from one computer screen to another. I will try to describe the colors in the descriptions, but don't hesitate to ask me for additional information.)

Unfortunately, if you receive your purchase and it was damaged en route, I can't replace it. However, if you promptly return the damaged item to me WITHIN ONE WEEK of receiving it, I will give you credit to purchase a different item in the VintageFriends shop. (I do not cover the return shipping costs.)

Non-US customers note: all duties, taxes, tariffs, and customs fees assessed by your friendly customs agent are not my responsibility. Please be aware of the laws and fees associated with shopping abroad that your country deems applicable. On customs forms, I mark the package as "merchandise" and not as a "gift."

\***LOST PACKAGES***\
Delivery Confirmation is standard on packages I send within the US. If too much time has passed and you think your package has been lost in the mail, please contact me as soon as possible. International Packages are sent via First Class International Mail; it is impossible to track them once they have left the United States Postal service. For an additional shipping fee, International packages can be sent via Priority Mail, with insurance and tracking information (costs approximately twice the First Class fee).

*Shoes
PLEASE NOTE! It appears there is no international "gold standard" for sizing shoes. I carefully measure shoes and describe them to the best of my ability. However, it is critically important that you measure your feet and compare that to the measurements in the listing of the shoes.
Measuring your feet
Draw around them on a piece of paper or cardboard and write the measurements on the drawing (length, width). Use the measurements of your larger foot!
*Clothes
For clothing, please compare your actual measurements with the measurements that I take of the garments when they are laying flat.
(Older vintage clothes were originally designed to be worn with shaping garments, such as girdles and corsets. To be comfortable and not put strain on the seams of your garment, you'll need to allow for an inch or two of wiggle room between your measurements and those of the item you purchase. )
How to measure yourself
Take your measurements once, then write them down on a handy note card.
*BUST - The fullest part of the bust while wearing a good bra.
*WAIST - Your waist is next to your inner elbow when your arms are held at your sides. (Many clothes today are worn very low on the hips. Most vintage clothing was worn at the true waist!)
*HIPS - Measure the widest expanse around your hips and buttocks, level with your hip bones.
HEAD - To measure for a hat, use a flexible tape measure and look in a mirror. Measure the circumference of the widest part of your head, approximately an inch above the eyebrows.
