I believe the way you treat a customer is over half of the value for me, the light is cool, but we will never use VIW again. VIW has been rude and flippant with us. We can't even decide if we want to keep the light we are so sad & frustrated. We had a horrible shipping experience where we drove to 3 cities, four trips, in total 12 hours of driving and countless phone calls trying to get our package. VIW refuses to seek justice with Greyhound (GH and refuses to compensate us for our ridiculous 12 hours of driving. The fishy part is they say they spent 30 hours on the phone with GH, but did not ask for a reimbursement? We have tried to pursue the reimbursement, but GH will only discuss reimbursements with the purchaser. We paid 100 for shipping that only cost 59 on GH and 18 for packaging, VIW won't even partially reimburse.

About

Preserving America's Industrial Age

Armed with torches, grinders and welders, we are committed to preserving the past. We feel the beauty and craftsmanship of a lost era are incredibly valuable commodity in this disposable society. Many items we restore are 100 to 150 years old and with respect for the early American ingenuity, we keep our items as close as possible to their original design. We have been in business, for over 20 years and you may have seen us at Marburger Farms in Round Top TX or at the Meadows in Brimfield MA or Bella Patina in Kansas City, Mo. We have decided to branch out and are excited to join the Etsy Community and share our passion for preservation. With Eric's eye for detail and knowledge of woodworking, metal smithing and lighting, we bring you our collection of vintage industrial lighting and decor.

I am blessed to work with my fiance and enjoy every aspect of the business. From the joy of the hunt, the restoration process, all the way to seeing the big smiles on our customers faces, this is the most rewarding job of my life.

I have been restoring antique lighting for over 20 years. During this time I have always had a passion for old mechanical pieces. When vintage industrial decor became popular, I found it to be a perfect fit.
