My appreciation for vintage began at a young age. My parents were buyers and sellers of antique music boxes and player pianos, and I accompanied them on many purchasing expeditions. We lived in London when I was 13, and I was lucky enough to frequent the antique markets there as well.

After college, my husband and I began collecting McCoy pottery and other items that struck our fancy. We would drive to the Pasadena flea market in California, and I would often to go the Art Deco Show in San Francisco. I have a knack for spotting 'gems' that others might overlook.

Over the years, I picked up linens here and there, but didn't really realize I had a collection until 10 years ago when the tablecloths, pillowcases, and towels were all assembled in one place, and the space they were destined for was too small. I knew it was time to share the love and begin sending these lovelies back out into the world.

I have experimented with many laundering techniques, and am happy to advise and share, though some formulas I consider 'trade secrets'. I pride myself in being able to turn something yellowed and dingy into a textile you would be proud to use in your home!

Over the years I've expanded my inventory adding other specialty vintage items including hand-crank pencil sharpeners. (There's nothing quite like turning the sharpener crank and blowing off the shavings from a nice sharp pencil point!) Each sharpener is cleaned, oiled, and serviced prior to sale.
