About

Our story among the porcelain history

Vintage Tea Time By Niw - it`s our shop on Facebook (see more: https://www.facebook.com/vintageteatimebyniw), where we focus on providing German and English porcelain to our Customers (both: English and German tea set and tea cup, coffee set, coffee cup and saucer, spoon, vintage coffee grinder).

We decide to expand also on ETSY, to share the same passion with other people from all over the world.

We are interested in porcelain and history of porcelain, especially German factories and manufactures, like: Schumann, Wallendorf, Rosenthal and other.
Reason?
German porcelain has the longest traditions among European porcelain. On the royal court of the German Elector of Saxony and King of Poland, August the Strong, for the first time in Europe, in 1709, was developed the technology of production of porcelain: in The Royal-Polish and Electoral-Saxon Porcelain Manufacture (famous Meissen porcelain).

This achievement of German Craftsmen is a reason why, the German porcelain most of all, fill our fascination… and our shop :)
