In about February of 2013 I got the machine I use to cut vinyl. I had meddled around with other hobbies but none of them stuck. I got the machine for a completely different purpose than vinyl but I had a friend tell me to try out vinyl and I did and BOOM, it stuck (pun intended). I slowly started making things for other people and I was eventually encouraged to start an etsy so in August of 2013 I did.
The name, Vinylsaurus Rex, just came to me one day. My son was watching a lot of dinosaur shows on netflix at the time and one night while trying to think of random names I said to my husband "vinylsaurus rex". It was more of a joke at first but I kept coming back to it so, obviously, I used it.

I'm updating this in July of 2018 and I have to say I still really enjoy what I do!! Thanks so much to all of my customers!

Payment
Payment is expected at time of purchase. You may pay using either PayPal or Etsy Direct Checkout.
Shipping
USPS is my preferred shipping carrier and items will ship first class (standard) unless the priority option is selected.

Items shown in shop are made to order. My processing time fluctuates from 3-5 days to 1-2 weeks. You'll be able to find my processing time on the item page under "Shipping & Returns". If you need an item by a certain date please message me before you order. I am not a mind reader and can't possibly know when you need it by unless you let me know.

Please make sure you have the CORRECT shipping address when you check out.. If your order has been shipped prior to your contacting me to let me know of an address change, I cannot be held responsible for your order. It is the customer's responsibility to put down the correct address and/or to immediately let me know if there are any address changes to be made. This also goes for monograms. I will not be responsible for your order if you put down the wrong initials and do not contact me prior to the item shipping.

Items that arrive damaged or defective will be replaced free of charge or refunded (including shipping costs associated with the item) if replacements are not available. If you receive an order where a decal is torn or an item is broken, please contact me within 24HRS of receiving it with a picture of the item for a replacement.

Again, I ship all orders with a tracking number via USPS. Once the package gets scanned by the post office and the tracking shows "acceptance" by the post office, I can no longer be held responsible by you to replace/refund any lost/stolen packages. However, I understand that the post office does very rarely misdeliver or lose packages. Please contact me within 24HRS of delivery date showing in USPS. Please ask any household members and neighbors to see if they have it and/or have had similar issues with vanishing packages. Also, ask your personal mail carrier if they still have it in their possession or recall seeing it. You MUST contact your local post office to file a lost package claim. Once a claim is opened, please message the claim number to me. Sometimes it is necessary to wait up to 2 weeks. I will do everything in my power to help try to recover your lost package but I do need your assistance in the matter. Thank you.
Additional policies and FAQs
I do not typically work on weekends/holidays. If you try to contact me during these times please be understanding if I don't respond right away. Weekends/holidays are family time.
Also I want to add that life happens and I cannot control life circumstances. For example getting a phone call from school saying my kid is sick or getting sick myself. I prefer not to handle my customers items when I'm sick or when I'm dealing with a sick kid as that spreads germs and ew, lol.

Custom Order Info:
I reserve to the right to refuse custom orders that interfere with my beliefs.
I will always try my best to fulfill your custom order however there are limits.
My limits include foul language, vulgarity, blasphemy against God/Jesus to name a few. If you don't know if you're custom order falls under these categories please feel free to message me. I'm not judgmental or mean and if it's out of my limits I can refer you to a friend (she's really cool and a nerd like me) whose limits are not my own.
