MY STORY

Since I can remember myself I was always crafting, sewing, knitting or embroidering. When I finished high school I decided to take my passion onto the next level. I studied fashion design and pattern-making at ESMOD fashion colledge in Paris, which I graduated with Master's of Arts degree.
In 2007 I got married. As a fashion designer I could not not make my own dress, right? So I did that, I created my own dress as well as all my accessories. I loved working with myself as a bride, I was pregnant and I was very picky about colors, my dress was turquoise color. I decided that I will do the same for other brides too.

In 2008 my husband, our son and I moved from France to USA, California.
In 2009 while I worked as draping and pattern-making instructor at FIDM in San Francisco I opened my first Etsy store Viogemini and in 2012 my GarterQueen store which was so successful that I had to quit my job to keep up with all the orders that were pouring in. I miss teaching, but I also love working with my brides :-)

2 years ago my business grew so much that I had to move the production out of my house and hire an assistant and 2 part time seamstress. Now I have a brick-and-mortar store in Fremont, with large storage and production space,where I design new accessories, take pictures and process the orders. Since the arrival of my second son in may 2015, he also has his own space in the store :-)
We also love working with our local brides, to whom we offer custom design bridal gowns and alteration services as well as a wide range of bridal accessories.
