The Beginning of Something Magical...

Virgo's Alchemy is a shop that offers collectors and fellow artists something unique and beautiful, directly from my heart and hands - to yours!

In my in-home studio, nestled close to 9k ft up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, I create One of a Kind Fantasy Figurative Art Doll Sculptures, beautiful handmade glass eyes to use in your own creations, Lovely Artisan Handmade Soaps, and other unique quality treasures you will love!

My customer's happiness, satisfaction, trust, and loyalty means EVERYTHING to me. When you purchase from Virgo's Alchemy, you are NEVER thought of as just a "sale", you are considered a valuable asset and the reason I'm able to do what I love the most.

This new venture on Etsy has been very exciting, and intimidating, but it's the start of something very special and I feel very thankful and blessed for the opportunity.

Unusually Yours,

**Please Note I only accept returns & exchanges on CERTAIN items**

For Sculptures/Art Dolls, and all other completed Artwork:

I take many photographs of my work, as well as measurements, and give complete details on materials used. I ask that you please DO NOT purchase my artwork unless you are certain the piece meets your personal criteria. Please message me if you have any questions and I will be sure to clarify anything for your piece of mind. If an art piece ever breaks (regardless of fault or reason) and if it's deemed repairable, I will repair for free. However, this has to be left to my discretion as there are many things to consider when repairing a piece.

REPAIR policy:

1. Depending on the damage, it might not be possible to repair it exactly as it was before.
2. You must properly ship the artwork to me at your own expense, and provide return shipping.
3. There is no guarantee that a piece can be repaired 100% as it was before; this is totally on a case-by-case basis as many things can happen (fire damage, animal damage...etc)
4. You must agree to accept my honest effort to repair the piece.
5. In the case of certain permanent display bases, such as glass, please understand those things cannot normally be repaired.

*My work is not intended to be used or given as a toy; these are collectible works of art intended for proper display purposes only.

Before leaving NEGATIVE feedback, please always reach out to me if there are any issues with your order. I can and will make every effort to make it right, within reason.

For SOAP Products:

Please know, due to the nature of soap products, I cannot accept returns or exchanges, and therefore cannot issue refunds. However, if a situation ever arises where you are truly unhappy with a soap product, by all means - message me right away! I will do my best to make it right, even though I'm certain you will enjoy the items you receive because I make every effort to create products that I myself would want and use...and I'm PICKY!!

If you are truly ever unhappy with my handmade eyes, I will accept returns and/or exchanges. I take high quality photographs and give very good detailed descriptions of the size, shape, color, etc. to avoid this from happening and costing my customers time, money, and frustration.

Due to the nature of digital downloads and files, I cannot offer refunds. Although I'm very confident you will be pleased with your purchase, please contact me in the case you find any issues with your purchase.
I accept all payments through Etsy, so payments are secure and well protected.
USPS is the most cost effective means of shipping, as well as reliable. I do not charge any handling fees, the cost of my shipping is based on the total weight and size of packaging, as well as current USPS shipping rates.

I make every effort to ship all orders within 2-3 business days, if not sooner (usually sooner) I do live up in the Rocky Mountains, during certain times of the year, this may complicate my ability to get to the local post office, but I will always post a shop announcement if anything like that should arise. If you need something right away - message me FIRST so that I can make every effort to make it happen. In the case of a custom order, obviously I cannot ship within 48 hours, so please be sure to communicate with me prior to purchasing so we can agree upon a reasonable time frame.

I currently do not ship outside USA for my SOAPS or ARTWORK, I'm sorry for any inconvenience. I might offer international shipping in the future if I can figure out how to make it cost effective for my buyers.

Insurance is included FREE OF CHARGE for all shipments of $50 and higher!
Additional policies and FAQs
ABOUT SOAP: Not all soaps will be exactly the same, it's impossible to duplicate each one exactly. My soaps often look like they are edible - they are NOT edible and they are NOT to be given to children unsupervised because, well, we all know soap does not taste too good... My Soaps, are just that - SOAP. I do not make or suggest any claims to any medicinal or cosmetic benefits of using my products. I'm not responsible for any misuse of my products, or for any skin sensitivities. It is a consumer's responsibility to make sure they use products that are conducive to their own unique and individual sensitivities and/or allergies. Although I make absolutely no claims about my products, I still always provide accurate ingredient lists so that my customers are well educated as to what they are getting when purchasing my products.

ABOUT MY FIGURATIVE ART DOLL SCULPTURES: My sculpted "dolls" are never constructed using molds of any kinds. I do not cast molds of my work, and I do not duplicate my work in any way. They are constructed using high quality professional polymer clay with durable wire armatures throughout. I cure my dolls at recommended times and temperatures based on manufacturer directions and currently have over 10 years of experience working with this medium. I'm a proud member, in good standing, with the IADR (International Art Doll Registry). Each of my sculptures come signed and/or with COA.

ABOUT MY HANDMADE EYES: My eyes are made using a combination of old-school and new-school, with my personal unique spin. I've been making eyes for many years for my own figurative sculptures. I will ALWAYS be looking for ways to enhance the quality, look, and feel of my eyes. Products I use will sometimes vary, but I only use products that I have tested and feel confident in. Because my eyes will more than likely be used in polymer clay creations, which require heat exposure, there is ALWAYS the possibility that something could go wrong. If the temperature is too high, especially with novice sculptors, this can denature the resin and cause visual changes. This is the case with any "resin" lens eye. These eyes are stable up to 275 degrees, with a decent "cushion" for fluctuation, but should NEVER exceed 300 degrees. Always use a reliable digital thermometer to monitor your heat. In the case of multiple "bakes" or stage curing, you can also reduce risk with any resin eye by baking/curing the head first, and then attaching when the rest of the sculpture is done, or, you can also use a heat resistant material to gently wrap around the head/eyes to reduce the exposure to multiple cures.
