Hi there! I'm Sydney!

I've always been completely captivated by the art of clothes making. As a young child, I remember seeing my grandma sew and crochet and being totally fascinated by the things she could make with her hands. She started teaching me the basics and together we carried out some simple sewing projects. When I got into high school, I spent three years taking fashion design and merchandising courses. However, it wasn't until becoming a mother that my passion truly took its form. Sewing became something that allowed me my own identity. Sewing became my escape through the most difficult stages of motherhood.

I'm now a mother of 2 daughters, who bring so much joy. They also bring so much STUFF! Shortly before the birth of my second daughter, I discovered MINIMALISM. In the process of decluttering my home, I realized that I was bursting at the seams with my own creations. So what do you do when your passion is starting to take over your closets? What do you do when you LOVE making children's clothing but your kids just have too.much.stuff? You open your own shop so you can continue doing what you love without taking over your home.

I opened Vivi & Zem Clothing Co. in May of 2018. My mission is to deliver high quality clothing that's both practical and fashionable for you and yours. I'm inexplicably grateful for your support.
