Announcement    Hello Everyone! Welcome to my shop. I am pleased to bring unique jewelry, purses and upcycled clothing to you. I have been designing and selling since 1999. I also create costumes and and design clothing which I have been doing since 1991. I am a nurse by trade but have always had a passion for creating and diy projects. I live in Chicago which is a great place for inspiration and with tons of supplies and shops I am always creating something unique and fresh. Please feel free to add me to your circle! I have always had a huge passion for creating things. As I child, I sat and watched my grandmother make all kinds of clothing and accessories for her customers. My mother was also very handy with crafts. she could do everything from laying tile to creating the most delicate of jewelry designs. Needless to say, sewing and creating runs deep in my blood!

I am a nurse by trade but unfortunately not a very happy nurse. My passion and love lies in creating with my hands. Sure, nurturing patients has it's place and I love that aspect of nursing. But when it's all said and done, the politics of nursing simply kills my spirit and I have to be true to myself. Being true to myself means that I can not and will NOT stop pursuing my dreams of working solely for myself and making great money doing so. I love to give back and I feel that having time to work my day as needed will enable me to do more for the world. I love making up batches of earring and passing them out at homeless shelters or to women who just need to know that someone cares. Or to be able to volunteer my time or resources to someone in need. This is my mission statement! With God by my side failure simply is not an option!
