Spiritual Supplies for Sacred Spaces

Single mom, young child and no money... I was working three jobs and barely making enough to make ends meet even with a professional position. I decided to go back to school on top of it all. Call me crazy, call me driven, call me whatever you want, I have goals, and gosh darn it, I will reach those goals one day.

That's how I started my online journey - as an experimental, supplemental business venture while I was in graduate school trying to make ends meet with a young child. Not unlike a lot of people on Etsy, I suppose.

At first I sold mosaics, spiritual art and voodoo dolls. And surprisingly, people took notice and the orders started coming in! People started asking how to use their voodoo dolls and questions about hoodoo and magic so I decided to write a book about it. That was the ebook How to Voodoo with Voodoo Dolls. It later turned into Voodoo Dolls in Magick and Ritual, one of my best selling books to date. I have since published over ten books related to southern folk magic and New Orleans Voodoo and Hoodoo.

I discovered Etsy some years ago and always felt it to have great creative energy. I have not had time to devote to my Etsy shop for a number of reasons, but I have decided to give it a go and see what happens. Even though I've been signed up with Etsy for several years, I feel like a newbie here. So, I'll be poking around and getting to know other sellers.

I am best known for being an author. I wrote the Voodoo Hoodoo Spellbook, Voodoo Dolls in Magick and Ritual, Gypsy Wisdom, Spells Charms and Folklore, and Hoodoo Almanacs 2012, 2013 and 2014 with Carolina Dean and Alyne Pustanio. I have coauthored a couple of books with Madrina Angelique, 105 Spiritual Baths for Every Ocassion and Working in the Boneyard. I created the first magazine about Southern Hoodoo and Conjure to ever be printed, Hoodoo and Conjure Quarterly. I have had several websites showcasing my artwork and my spiritual supplies. Truth be told, things have gotten out of hand and I need to consolidate, reorganize simplify and downsize. I think Etsy is just the place to help me do just that, hopefully driving up sales for my new website Creole Moon.

My products are hand-crafted, artisan-made, superior quality products for worship, ceremony and devotion for alternative faiths. Religious and inspirational items for altars and spiritual living, finely crafted perfume oils and unguents based on ancient formularies, ritual oils and conjure oils for magickal practitioners, spiritual and devotional jewelry, and specialized supplies for all magical occasions and all spiritual paths. That has been my goal - to offer traditional, hand-crafted products as a way to preserve traditional Southern indigenous cultural lifeways and pay homage to the multicultural influences of my ancestors.

Aside from my books, my specialty oils are my best sellers on my websites. I am known for my high quality spiritual oils and ritual oils, aromatherapy dolls, Egyptian and East Indian unguents and solid perfumes and authentic New Orleans Hoodoo products based on ancient recipes and French formularies. I strive to maintain the highest quality products possible. As a rootwoker and medicine woman, I grow and wildcraft many of the ingredients I use in the creation of my products, other ingredients are outsourced to traditional Southern swampers, who go out into the swamps and woods to procure the rarest of ingredients needed for superior magickal items. This is how it was done way back in the "olden days", before the advent of commercialized Hoodoo, and this is one way of supporting and reviving a dying southern indigenous tradition.

If it is authentic conjure, rootwork and indigenous ingredients or information you need or if it is finished products you need like spiritual baths, sachet powders, Voodoo dolls, spirit bottles, and conjure oils, Creole Moon has the best prices and the best quality around.

I hope you enjoy shopping at my store and I appreciate any feedback I receive.

May the warm winds of heaven blow safely on this Etsy shop and bless all who enter here!
